COSMETICS、卒業式に清春「もったいない」

　昨年の12月27日（日）、ふかわりょうが主催するイベント〈第3回フニオチコンテスト〉にて、1年間活動してきたCOSMETICSの卒業式が行なわれました。

　ふかわりょうが作詞?作曲?プログラミングなど、完全プロデュースを手掛けたCOSMETICSは、去年の2009年12月に配信シングル「LOVE IS ALL」でデビュー。7月に行なわれたアップルストア渋谷での初 美容部員
ライヴには300人以上ものオーディエンスが集まり、入場規制がかかったほど。12月2日に待望の初CD『LOVE IS ALL』（タワーレコード限定）をリリースし、ネットでも大きな話題となっていました。

　卒業式では「LOVE IS ALL」「tomorrow?sayonara mix?」の2曲を披露。ファンがサプライズで用意したサイリウムを片手に、会場にいたオーディエンス1,000人が
最後のパフォーマンスを見守りました。

　ライヴ終了後には、イベントに審査員として参加していた清水ミチコ、蛭子能収、清春が、COSMETICSに花束を贈呈。COSMETICSはファンに対し「本当に1年間ありがとうございました」と涙ながらにコメントしました。

　イベント終了後のインタビューでは、清春がふかわに対し「ライヴを観たが、
ROCKETMANの音楽はすごく良いし、COSMETICSが終わってしまうのはもったいない」と詰め寄る一幕も。COSMETICSの今後は一切明らかにされてはいないが、ROCKETMANとも親交のあるアーティスト、FPMの田中知之は「この荒涼たるJ-POPシーンを、デパート一階の化粧品売り場の美容部員さんのように、COSMETICSの力でカラフルにポップに変身させてくださいま
せ！ 隣の香水売り場に負けるな（笑）」と激励のコメントを寄せており、COSMETICSの今後の展開がますます気になるところ……。
